Job description

We are looking for you! Senior Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer (m/f/d) to strengthen our team immediately or by agreement.

We are Veratron AG, a globally operating development and manufacturing company that has been providing sophisticated and innovative instrumentation for vehicles of all kinds since 1972. Starting with speed and tachometers for passenger cars, as well as motorcycle and bicycle speedometers, sensors, control modules, and other exciting products, Veratron AG is now a competence center for electronic systems with a focus on special vehicles and recreational boating markets.

YOUR PLAYGROUND

  • You will plan, manage, and monitor acquisition and development projects, including financial reporting (project budget, BOM costs). You will coordinate across departments, lead internal and customer team meetings, conduct review meetings, and handle project documentation while monitoring the development progress

  • You will analyze and specify customer requirements and derive technical specifications in collaboration with the relevant departments (Mechanical and EE/SW Engineering). You will also contribute to the requirements engineering process

  • You will coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and internal development departments to ensure smooth collaboration

  • You will accompany the products throughout their entire lifecycle – from the concept phase to serial production – in close cooperation with procurement, SCM, and production teams

  • You will identify risks in the development process and develop strategies for risk mitigation

  • You will actively work to continuously optimize development and support processes

YOUR PROFILE

  • A completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field is required for this position

  • You bring several years of professional experience in the automotive industry, particularly in HMI development for marine or two-wheeler vehicles

  • You are familiar with the V-Model and agile development methodologies such as Scrum

  • You have strong knowledge of MS Office and SAP. Familiarity with MS Project and Atlassian Jira is a plus

  • Your proficiency in both German and English is excellent, both written and spoken. Any additional foreign languages are an advantage

  • You have an understanding of graphic and display technologies, a passion for electronic instruments and display devices

  • Experience with development processes such as ASPICE, ISO 26262 (functional safety), and ISO 21434 (cybersecurity) is a plus
