QUALITY ENGINEER, 100%

Due to an upcoming retirement, we are looking for a Quality Engineer 100% (m/f/d) to join our team immediately or as agreed.

Starting with speed and tachometers for passenger cars, as well as motorcycle and bicycle speedometers, sensors, control modules, and other exciting products, Veratron AG is now a competence center for electronic systems with a focus on special vehicles and recreational boating markets.

YOUR PLAYGROUND

• You will be responsible for ensuring and further developing our quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001

• You will lead and coordinate internal and external system, process, and product audits

• You will integrate current sustainability requirements, such as the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) and Carbon Footprint Management, into our processes

• You will conduct and lead root cause analyses for complex quality issues and manage problem-solving processes – using methods like 8D-Reports, 5Why, and Ishikawa

• You will be involved from the very beginning in the APQP/PPAP phase of new projects and actively shape quality processes

• You will continuously manage and develop our quality-relevant supplier relationships

• Last but not least, you will be our technical point of contact for all matters related to display technologies – from passive to active systems

YOUR PROFILE

• A completed technical degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics) or an equivalent qualification forms the foundation for this position

• Several years of professional experience in quality management, preferably within the electronics or display industry, are required for this role

• You bring solid knowledge of standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, as well as experience in sustainability/CSR (e.g., CSRD)

• Your expertise in electronics manufacturing and your technical understanding of display technologies (e.g., LCD, OLED, TFT) make you the competent point of contact in this area

• You are familiar with the application of quality tools such as FMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plan, and the 8D methodology

• With your experience in SAP and common quality management tools, you bring valuable practical expertise

• You are willing to travel internationally to support projects on-site

• Last but not least, your communication skills in English are fluent, both written and spoken. Good knowledge of German rounds out your profile
